Tuscany Lavender Picotee Verbena

Verbena is a genus of flowering annuals and tender perennials native primarily to the Americas, grown widely as a cottage garden and container plant for its long bloom season and tolerance of heat. The Tuscany Lavender Picotee strain produces clusters of small, five-petaled flowers in soft lavender, each petal edged with a deeper or contrasting margin — the defining characteristic of picotee coloration. Plants form a low, spreading mound well suited to borders, window boxes, and hanging baskets. The flowers attract butterflies and other pollinators reliably through summer and into fall, earning their keep even as other annuals begin to fade.
