Climbing vine that grows from 6-10 feet tall.
Like most clematis, they like their foliage in the sun and their roots cooled in some shade. Be sure to provide some other foliage around the base of the plant or heavy mulching.
Perennial zones 3-8, some sources say 9. Returns every spring.

The seeds sometimes need a short cold period of 4 weeks for germination, but this is not always necessary. I recommend sowing in small pots so that the pots can be transferred to the fridge if germination does not occur after 3-4 weeks.
