A hard to come by variety, Chocolate Mint Coleus is a dark brown, nearly black variety with mint green edges. These are quite rare and therefore a little on the pricey side. This is the best possible price I am able to provide.


Coleus is known for its shade loving qualities which makes for a perfect house plant or for that part of your yard that’s bare, because it doesn’t get much light. This is actually a "sun" coleus which means it can handle more light than the standard coleus but still makes for a great house plant in bright light situations or on a windowsill.


These thrive in room temperature conditions. They are extremely easy to care for and grow rapidly making them great for cuttings into new plants!


Trimming coleus is encouraged to create bushier growth and cuttings will easily root when placed in some moist soil. I even do it without rooting hormone.


Coleus is known for its beautiful foliage but it’s flowers are pretty too and come in a variety of colors. See my other listings for more varieties.

Commonly referred to as an annual but is actually a tender perennial. If protected from frost, they can live for many years.
