This is one of the rare trees that can be made into bonsai and will actually bloom! Be sure to give it phosphorous to encourage blooming.

It can also be allowed to grow into a gorgeous and large tree (20-40 feet) in the ground, in zones 6-9.


Scratch seeds with sandpaper and soak for 24 hours prior to sowing.
