A beautiful (and edible!) addition to the gothic garden. Cornflower flower heads are edible and the petals are often used in teas. The black and blue varieties create beautiful rich colors and petals retain their color when dried. The black is high in anthocyanins. They can also be eaten in salads.

Perennial zones 8-10, Can be grown as an annual in any zone.

Minimum planting temperature: 65 degrees

Grows to 30 inches tall and up to 1 foot wide.
