Aunt' Molly's Ground, Delicious fruit, Physalis Pruinosa
20 seeds
I eat these by the handful! They are so sweet and crisp with melting flesh. The size of a small grape, Aunt Molly's is a ground cherry and is related to tomatillo's or husk tomatoes.
Super easy to grow. Plant when temperatures are between 70 and 90 degrees. These can be started indoors, 6-8 weeks before your last expected frost in cooler climates.
These are recommended for pies and preserves but they never get that far with me, they are a delightful fresh fruit. These range in color from sunny yellow to orange.
Full sun, can live for several years if protected from frost. These get to be a nice size at about a foot and a half wide and tall and are very heavy producers.
This is for 20 Certified Organic, Non GMO and Heirloom Aunt Molly's Ground Cherry Seeds
