Meadow Rue, a native wildflower from Japan, is a stunning plant with delicate purple blossoms that emerge in the summer.

The plants grow quite large, reaching height of 7 feet, with oodles of blossoms on long stalks. Quite the eye catcher.

These require a short period of cold, which can be achieved by planting the seeds in flats, watering and placing in a sealed plastic bag and put in your refrigerator for 30 days. Seedlings emerge in 30 days and will return every spring for years to come.
