Watermelon Radish was one of the first vegetables I ever grew, I found that the redness varied and some of them would be white with red streaks. Then I discovered red meat radish which is reliably pure red/hot pink on the inside with the white ring around the red and green on the outside. An improved watermelon radish!

These look absolutely beautiful on top of a salad and add a nice little kick without being overwhelming.

Sprouts quickly, only 55 days to maturity.

Plant in spring or summer in cooler climates and fall or winter in warmer climates.
