I’ve always been attracted to green flowers, maybe because my mother was a florist shop owner and I was always surrounded by so many flowers and so much color and then there was these green flowers that weren’t “greenery.”

They add that missing color that so many arrangements need while still keeping everything in the arrangement as a flower.

They are so interesting with their long statuesque form with dozens of bells and then there’s this extra adorable quality that yielded them the name, “lady in the bathtub,” look closely inside the bells and you’ll see why.

They also dry very well. A nice way to add that missing piece of the rainbow in your garden.

Sow in spring in severe winter climates. Fall or winter in mild winter climates. These can handle some frost. Ideal temps are 60-85 degrees.

These have been cultivated since the 1500’s!
