One of the coolest plants ever! Burning Bush, also known as Summer Cypress and Mexican Fireweed has wispy fern like foliage and grows in adorable little elongated balls. It’s a nice lime/spring green color until fall where it slowly turns from green to a stunning hot pink and eventually to a brilliant scarlet red.
This plant is also referred to as Bassia Scoparia and Kochia scoparia.
This is not to be confused with Euonymus Alatus which is also referred to as burning bush or dwarf burning bush which is a non native that is considered invasive in cooler climates and does poorly in warmer climates.
This plant grows to a little over two feet tall and make for an excellent focal point in plantings of 3-4 in groups or in a row. Because of its compact size, it also makes for an attractive house plant but be prepared to give it a window with full sun.
These are highly delight tolwrant once established, easy and fast growing.

Plant in spring or summer in cooler climates and fall or winter in mild climates.
