A fascinating flower stalk with bright red to orange to yellow at the bottom. The flowers are large and are borne on impressive 5 foot tall stalks. A member of the lily family. Native to South Africa.

The seeds require a short cold treatment to germinate. This can most easily be achieved by folding the seeds in a moist paper towel and then a plastic bag and putting them in your refrigerator for one month.
