PLEASE READ - These sunflowers are open pollinated and vary in color due to cross pollination, an attribute that I actually love. You will likely get different colors with each seed. You will notice that some seeds are a completely different color. This is because as bees travel from one type of sunflower to another, the pollen that they carried from whichever other species they just visited will change the outcome of the seeds. You can get a head full of seeds of all different colors. I have noticed that Red Sun is a variety where this is much more prevalent.

I’ve had them come out a vibrant red to a gorgeous orange with gold tips, a velvety chocolate, bi-colors and even solid yellow (rare.)

These have a branching habit with up to 10 flowers per plant.

Not only is this an impressive flower but it’s also impressive in size, reaching heights of 5 to 6 feet tall. Flower heads that are 5-6 inches across. Beautiful to enjoy in your garden, as cut fresh flowers or dried. Dry by placing flower heads face down on a paper plate so that they dry flat.

Sunflowers are a great way to attract bees to your garden as they find them irresistible and will pollinate everything else while visiting, yielding you more flowers and vegetables throughout your garden.
