Stringless Sugar Snap Peas!

I’ve grown so many varieties of sugar snap peas I’ve lost count but one of my biggest pet peeves is harvesting and cooking them only to find that they are full of strings. Removing the strings from each and every pod makes it not worth the trouble.

These are one of the rare varieties that are truly stringless!

The pods are long and fat, super crisp and the perfect sweetness. These are delicious eaten raw with dip or cooked.

These prefer temperatures between 55 and 75 degrees and typically will not set pods above 80. These are great cooler climate peas. If you are looking for a heat tolerant variety- please see my other listing for Wando peas!

These get 24+ inches tall and require staking. I like to use expandable pea trellises which are easy and not expensive. You can also create your own. See photos for examples.
