The roots and leaves are used for medicinal purposes and can also be made into a tea.

Sow in spring in cooler climates, spring fall or winter in zones 9+. Seeds ideally need to be 65-75 degrees to germinate, but the seeds can benefit from a period of cold to increase germination.
