Known for their beautiful pinkish red flowers, Chinese Redbud puts on a stunning display.  This plant also makes for an excellent bonsai and will flower in this state. 
 
Grows from 8-15 feet in the USA, perfect for a smaller area where you want some color but don't have room for a huge tree. 
 
Perennial zones 6-9, any zone indoors as a bonsai. 
 
Seeds require 90 days of cold stratification but direct sowing in fall/winter or placing seeds in your refrigerator.
