Get the best of both with all colors with a mix of both ornamental (and edible) kale and cabbage! A great autumn planting, kale and cabbage should be planted when temperatures are around 65 degrees.  Colors intensify as the temperatures drop. They can survive well into winter, even with frost and snowfall. 


These are a variety of colors including purple, lavender, pink and white. They look like rosettes and can substitute as a flower, but they are also edible and have a high antioxidant content. They can be eaten raw or steamed. Young leaves are better for eating raw.


Harvest time is 12-14 weeks, but the plants are beautiful through the entire growing process.
