A native Echinacea, not to be confused with the yellow-headed coneflower, Bush’s coneflower has sunny yellow petals and the same medicinal qualities as purple coneflower.
Ozark or Bush’s coneflower is a US Native and is found in various places but seems to have originated and adapted very well to the Ozarks. It has long tap roots that enable it to survive long periods of drought.
Seeds can planted in fall for a spring emergence or cold stratified in your refrigerator for 60 days, in order to break dormancy.
