Radar Love Vining Clematis produces beautiful yellow nodding flowers, with tips that spread out to reveal a purple center.

They bloom all the way from summer to first frost and produce interesting and attractive silvery seed pods before going dormant in winter.

The vines can grow up to 25 feet in a single season! cut plants back before winter and they will return more vigorous each spring.

Like most clematis, they like their foliage in the sun and their roots cooled in some shade. Be sure to provide some other foliage around the base of the plant or heavy mulching.

The seeds sometimes need a short cold period of 2-4 weeks for germination, but this is not always necessary. I recommend sowing in small pots so that the pots can be transferred to the fridge if germination does not occur after 3-4 weeks.
