A beautiful yellow flowering North American native, Wild Senna is found natural in the South and Northeastern US and well as parts of Canada. See photo 2 for its native range.
It is a bumble bee favorite and attracts a myriad of butterflies as well. It is a host to the cloudless sulphur butterfly and also attracts hummingbirds.
Grows 3-6 feet tall and 2-3 feet wide.

Seeds can be sown in fall for a spring emergence or scarified by rubbing between two sheets of sandpaper and then folding into a moist paper towel and sealing in a ziploc bag and placing in your refrigerator for 10 days, then sow as normal. Do not scarify seeds if planting in fall/winter.
