These are pollinator magnets here in Florida with their tall stalks of cheery yellow sunflower like blooms. After the petals fall off, what is left behind looks like a flower in itself. Likes poor Sandy soils and blooms all summer long.

Requires a brief period of cold to break dormancy. Sow seeds in fall or cold stratify in your refrigerator- fold seeds into a moist paper towel, then ziploc bag and place in refrigerator for 30 days, then sow as normal.
