2000 seeds

Designated as the official wildflower of the state of Florida, Coreopsis Leavenworthii has been unofficially renamed Coreopsis Floridana. Also known as tickseed.

While native to both Florida, Alabama and other southern US states, you don’t have to live in Florida or Alabama to grow this incredibly important and useful native wildflower. It is considered annuao to short lived perennial but will reseed if desired.

While naturally found in growing zones 8-11, It will grow anywhere where temperatures are appropriate for the time of year. These will bloom in spring in most zones and year round in the southern parts of Florida.

1000 seeds will give any area a natural wildflower field look and your pollinators will flock! This plant is especially important for native bees which are often forgotten. Remember that honey bees, while important, are not native to the US.

Coreopsis Leavenworthii, unlike other Coreopsis, prefers damp soil and will perform best in lower lying areas, bogs or natural or man made lakes.

If you are looking to plant native and help to create “pockets of nature” in urban areas, which has became a must, this is something you should definitely plant.

Flowers are borne on long swaying stems that dance in the breeze, reaching 1-3 feet tall

Short lived perennial to annual
