'Bellringers' is a clump-forming, rhizomatous, herbaceous perennial with toothed, heart-shaped, semi-glossy, mid-green leaves and, in summer, arching stems bearing deep pink to pink-flushed, creamy-white, nodding, bell-shaped flowers with maroon-speckled throats.
