A cool climate plant, drumstick primrose does exceptionally well in climate zones 2-8. They even grow in Alaska!
The flowers are spherical globes of spectacular coloring, on 12 inch stems.
The seeds are very easy to germinate after a 6 week cooling period to break dormancy. They can be planted in fall for a spring emergence or folded into a moist paper towel and sealed in a Ziploc bag and placed in your refrigerator for six weeks, then, sow when temperatures are between 50 and 65°.
