These are a favorite from my childhood! My Mom and I would go outside in the late afternoon to find the four o’clock’s in full bloom and their sweet fragrance!
Four O’Clock’s get their name from the time that they bloom which is right around 4 pm.
The blooms are tubular and abundant, attracting hummingbirds and other pollinators.
If you are a beginner, these are one of the easiest seeds to grow.
They are perennials in zones 7-11 and can easily be grown as annuals in cooler zones, especially since they grow so fast.
