What a pretty little tough wildflower! Desert Marigolds are a great xeriscaping plant, that will out survive just about anything with their tolerance for harsh conditions, including extreme heat, cold, drought and poor soils. Their blooms also persist for much longer than other plants.

They are native to California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, New Mexico and Texas.

Perennial zones 5-11, but please note that these plants prefer a dry heat and won’t handle humid conditions well.

The seeds require 30 days of cold stratification which can be achieved by planting in fall/winter or cold stratifying in your refrigerator. Simply fold the seeds into a moist paper towel and place the towel in a ziploc bag. Put the bag in your refrigerator for 30 days, then sow as normal

This is for 250 seeds
