EACH SEED IS PACKED IN FOOD GRADE PLASTIC TO PREVENT THE SEEDS FROM BEING EXPOSED TO AIR AND MOISTURE. ALL PACKS ARE THEN INCLUDED IN A SEALED MYLAR BAG AND OXYGEN PACK, THAT CAN KEEP THE CONTENTS FRESH AND INSECT FREE FOR UP TO 25 YEARS. IT IS RECOMMENDED TO REPLACE THE OXYGEN PACK EVERY 6 MONTHS, IF YOU OPEN THR PACKAGE FREQUENTLY. OXYGRN PACKS ARE EASILY AVAILABLE ON AMAZON OR OTHER RETAILERS.
You can plant seeds for spring, fall or summer (and winter in warmer climates) and re-seal the bag after each use, to protect the contents. The Mylar bag includes a zip lock. we recommend closing a straw at one end of the ziplock after each use and sucking the air out before re-sealing.
