This is a cool climate plant and best begun indoors 8 weeks before the last expected frost to get blooms the same year. A very low maintenance flowering plant. It is a short lived perennial, returning every spring for 3 years and then will provide you with plenty of seeds for replanting. Makes for a beautiful cut flower.
