Yellow Gaillardia Aristata, also known as Yellow Blanket Flower, is a cold hardy perennial native to most of the Northwest and Southwest of North America, as well as parts of the Northern Central US and a few Northeastern states. It is specifically native to the following states:

Minnesota

New Jersey

New Mexico

It produces bright yellow, daisy-like flowers with fringed petals and a reddish-brown center. Some plants can produce a thin ring of red around the center. It is drought-tolerant and prefers full sun and well-draining soil. It is commonly found in prairies, meadows, and along roadsides. It is known for attracting pollinators like bees and butterflies, and is a vital source of nectar for them, with its long blooming period.
