Aurora is a cross-bred (non-GMO) gorgeous bicolor zinnia, in shade of peach, apricot, orange, pink and occasionally wine.
Zinnias can tolerate a wide range of temperatures, from 70 all the way up to 95 degrees. These can be direct sown in spring or started indoors, 6-8 weeks before your last expected frost in cooler climates. They can be grown pretty much year round in very warm climates.
Grows from 30-40 inches tall. Spent flowers should be removed (or fresh for vases!) to encourage more blooming.
Do not allow plants to become root bound and avoid disturbing roots; transplant shock or other stress events may cause double-flowering varieties to produce single blooms for a period following stress. Please also note that all double flowering zinnias can have a handful of single blooming plants.
Can be grown in any zone as long as temperature requirements are met. Annual.
