Very hard to come by seeds, the Blackfoot Daisy (Melampodium leucanthum) is a tough, cheerful little plant native to the arid landscapes of the American Southwest. It forms a low, spreading mound of fine, gray-green foliage that stays tidy and compact, making it a natural fit for rock gardens, xeriscapes, or sunny borders. From spring through fall, it produces a constant display of small, white daisy-like flowers with sunny yellow centers.
