Germination Notes: Iris chrysographes seeds benefit from cold stratification for 60 to 90 days. Sow on the surface of moist soil and provide a cold period before moving to warmer temperatures for germination. Seeds can be planted outdoors in fall for a spring emergence or folded into a moist paper towel and sealed in a ziploc bag with the label and date. After 60-90 days, sow at temps between 65 and 75 degrees.
