Cubanelle peppers are a sweet pepper variety that’s popular for their mild and sweet flavor. I love to eat them fresh, but they are also a great candidate for stuffing or pickling.
The plants are pretty easy to grow and quite prolific. They aren't spicy at all, they have a sweet, slightly tangy taste. If you’ve ever had Italian or Cuban dishes with a mild, sweet pepper, there’s a good chance it was a Cubanelle. They’re also sometimes called "Italian frying peppers."
Grows 18-24 inches tall
