This is why you are probably having a hard time finding these seeds anywhere.\u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003e Seeds from the flowers(not to be confused with these seeds, but rather babies of these seeds) of this plant may or may not look like the original flower, they may be less or even more impressive. It’s all up to the bees at that point. This is why you sometimes get sunflower seeds that don’t all look like the package. This is why you will see autumn mix or evening sun mix. Sunflowers are very attractive to bees and cross pollination is an absolute. I encourage people to grow more than one type of sunflower at a time, save the seeds, replant the following season and see what you get. You just might grow the next best sunflower.\u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003e If a farmer is growing more than one type of sunflower, which is likely in commercial growing, you’re going to get plants that look like the picture and plants that look close to the picture.
