This is a mix of the Sun Smile Morning Glories. this is a random assortment of pink, red, blue and violet. Each flower has a white rim. the plants have variegated leaves! This is not a vine, but a ground cover!
It’s considered a dwarf variety with a mounding habit, rather than a climbing habit, which makes for an excellent ground cover, similar to potato vine (also a member of the Ipomoea family as is railroad vine) and is also great in hanging baskets.
Like all Morning Glory’s, flowers open in the morning and fade as the sun sets. A nice compliment to moon vine which does the opposite, opens in the evening and closes in the morning.
Start indoors 6-8 weeks before your last expected frost or direct sow in spring or anytime temperatures are above 65 degrees.
