Bring tall, showy color to your garden with Tetra Mix Snapdragon, a variety prized for its extra large, deeply ruffled blooms in a vivid mix of pink, purple, red, yellow, and white. Named for its unusual flowers that resemble a dragon's face, complete with a "mouth" that opens when gently squeezed, this beloved cottage garden flower has captivated gardeners since the 1700s and was even grown by Thomas Jefferson in his own experimental garden.
Tetra Mix Snapdragon produces sturdy, fragrant flower spikes reaching 18 to 30 inches tall, making a bold statement in beds, borders, and containers alike. This annual is a favorite for cutting gardens, with a long vase life and continuous blooms from spring through fall. Hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies flock to its nectar rich blooms, and its edible flowers even make a striking garnish for desserts.
As always, every seed we offer is 100% non GMO. Whether heirloom, open pollinated, or hybrid, our seeds are never lab altered or genetically modified, just real seeds bred the traditional way.
Growing Tips:
Press seeds lightly onto the soil surface, as light is required for germination, do not cover. Start indoors 8 to 10 weeks before your last frost date, or direct sow in early spring or late fall. Space plants 12 to 18 inches apart in full sun. Deadhead regularly to encourage continuous blooming.
Approx 100 Seeds
We combine shipping on all seed orders, you pay one flat fee for as many seeds as you would like for no additional shipping. Orders over $35 for any combination of items ship for free to the US
All our seeds are rigorously tested to ensure high germination standards
