Birdhouse Gourd seeds that grow up to 15 inches long.
Seeds can be started 6-8 weeks before your last expected frost.
Plant when temperatures are between 70 and 90 degrees
Harvest 125-140 days, can handle light frost
After growing to the desired size, gourds can be dried and washed and painted as desired. A simple hole can be drilled with a drill attachment.
These are so cute painted all different colors and hanging from trees, also makes for a great feeder. The hole can be made larger and more of a half circle shape for this purpose.
