Believed to be THE fastest maturing sunflower, these are sprout to flower in only 40 days!
These are a cherry red-rose to pink with creamy to lemon yellow tips and a dark rich center.
Please note that colors vary due to cross pollination by bees. Sunflowers are particularly susceptible to variants as they are very attractive to bees, however, this is how cool new colors are created, bees are truly artists! üêùü媂ù§Ô∏è
Not only is this an impressive flower but it’s also impressive in size, with flower heads that are 3-4 inches across grown in stalks that are 4-6 feet tall.
Plant in late spring or summer in cooler climates and any time of year in zones 9+. These can handle some heat but appreciate being well irrigated.
Sunflowers are a great way to attract bees to your garden as they find them irresistible and will pollinate everything else while visiting, yielding you more flowers and vegetables throughout your garden.
