Doubleshot Hot Pink Snapdragon

Snapdragons (Antirrhinum majus) are short-lived perennials from the western Mediterranean, most commonly grown as cool-season annuals in North American gardens. Doubleshot Hot Pink produces densely doubled florets in a saturated rose-pink, stacked along upright spikes that work well as cut flowers or as vertical accents in mixed borders. The doubled form reduces the characteristic hinged "dragon mouth" of the species, but gains considerable fullness and staying power in the vase. Snapdragons perform best in the cooler ends of the growing season, fading in midsummer heat and often reblooming as temperatures drop in early fall.
