These mixed Lithops seeds contain a huge variety of mixed species from South Africa.
Lithops are very easy to grow and require very little care. Just give them some sun and occasional water. Do not overwater.
The native environment for Lithops are very harsh conditions of intense sunlight with very little water. Certain times of the year, they will receive rain which they will store for very long periods of time.
These are the perfect plant for people who forget to water. They do grow larger but once they reach a certain size, they remain that size making it it ideal for not having to upsize their pot(s)
Lithops produce pretty straw like flowers in their center and when they split, two new leaves appear in the center and the outer leaves are eventually shed.
Do not water during this time, the plant is using the stored water in the outer leaves to supplement the new leaves. The outer leaves will shrink and eventually shrivel up. Your plant is not dying, this is completely normal. The outer leaves can be removed once they turn brown and dry up.
Directions for sowing will be provided.
Zones 9+, can easily be grown indoors in any other zone.
