'Twinny Violet' is a dwarf selection prized for its doubled, azalea-form flowers — petals layered and open-faced rather than the usual hinged "snap" — in soft violet tones that hold beautifully in the garden and the vase. Its compact, upright habit suits containers and the front of a border, and it blooms most generously through the cooler stretches of spring and fall.
