A very unique white sunflower! Petals start out cream and mature to white. These are perfect for cutting and placing in a vase with a few drops of dye to get any color sunflower you want! You can also dry them after they have soaked in the dye for dried pink,blue or whatever color your heart desires! PLEASE NOTE that photos 4-7 are a result of flowers that have been cut and placed in dye. The sunflower will grow white and is a perfect candidate for dyeing.
Sunflowers like warmth. Plant in spring or summer in cooler climates and any time of year in zones 9+. These can handle some heat but appreciate being well irrigated. Because these are sprout to flower in only 90 days, you can plant these as a late season flower.
Sunflowers are a great way to attract bees to your garden as they find them irresistible and will pollinate everything else while visiting, yielding you more flowers and vegetables throughout your garden.
Grows 5-7 feet tall with flowers that are 3-5 inches wide. One single flower per stem. Very sturdy stem.
