The Woolly Kate Yellow tomato is rare variety known for its yellow and black skin and a contrasting yellow interior. The fruit is a cherry type, measuring 1 to 1 1/2 inches. The skin also has a light fuzz, reminiscent of peach skin. They have a delightful sweet taste.
These tomatoes can be grown in any zone, as long as the time of year is right, but they are known to perform very well in hot and humid climates, including Hawaii, Florida and Louisiana.
It was developed by plant breeder Tom Wagner and is one of very few wooly tomatoes that exists in the world
Indeterminate, meaning it grows without limits, until frost.
